In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the checkout counter.
You will handle transactions, maintain an organized checkout area, and assist in coordinating the timely delivery of orders to guests. If you have excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and thrive in providing a positive customer experience, we would love to hear from you.
- Greet guests, answer their questions, and provide friendly and efficient service.
- Accurately process sales transactions using cash registers or POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments in a secure and professional manner.
- Ensure accurate pricing and entry of items on POS.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Resolve guests’ concerns in a polite and timely manner.
- Assist in reconciling cash drawers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculations.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations is a plus.
